CtR End of Year Program

Last night Max's school had their end of year program and we were so excited to see Max at school with his friends. We we dressed up for church, dropped in off in his class, then waited for them to make their entrance. Maddie did not want to sit still, but I didn't expect anything else (she actually didn't even want to wear her dress --kept saying "don't wike it!") The 4 year old class had their graduation, then they sang songs with the other students. Max was front in center when it was his turn singing "This Little Light of Mine" So sweet! He did a great job and looked so cute. When we came up to picture he kept waving and smiling. I love seeing him with his friends. He is so sweet and wants to tell them hello and play, but he is a little shy sometimes. After the program he joined us and we had cookies and lemonade in the courtyard. It was a great night, and yes I did get a little teary-eyed! To top it off his teachers sent his pre-school portfolio home. It was great to look back at how much he's grown and the fun he has had with new friends. We are looking forward to doing the same with Maddie next year. Shawn took a video also, I'll try to post that later too.

Mother's Day Tea

One of the coolest things about having Max in MDO is that they have these little programs and I get to see him in a new way. I love seeing him stand in line and listen to his teachers. Then when he gets so excited to see me, I love it!They always compliment on what a good boy he is. They had a Mother's Day Tea this past week. All the moms sat in the chapel and the kids walked in line by class to leave a flower for the Virgin Mary. I thought I was recording it, but I didn't. Gotta love technology or the operator really!
Walking in, Max is towards the back of the line

Miss Maddie hung out with her friend Olivia. I don't think she even realized I was gone!

Cheese!

I have taken a picture of this pose of the kids a few times. Today as we were rushing out, Max insisted on a picture. They both said cheese and looked absolutely adorable.

And this is our weekend project, planting flowers!
