Easter and Spring time are always fun around here. The weather is usually nice, there are tons of activities and plenty of candy. We went to the George Bush Library Easter egg hunt in College Station. I was so excited to take the kids there. Of course we were traveling, I the weather literally changed over night. I'm sure if I had checked the weather I would have know, but I digress. Oh and Maddie is in a "party/princess dress" kick and only wants to wear dresses. We got there at 9am and it was chilly and misting. The kids didn't seem to mind really, but I was cold (no jacket either). They played a few games, won prizes, ate popcorn and hunted for eggs. I was thankful my parents came to help me with the kids since they were split up by age. I took Maddie to her hunt. She was so cute, she would see them and squeal. But she wasn't eager to put it in her basket. She's gotten better though!

The kids had a hunt at their school too. They both came home with extra goodies from their friends and teachers too. I didn't do anything this time around, MOTY! They enjoyed it though. I had to make sure and go through Max's candy. He got several snickers and butterfingers, that I had to take out. He loves hershey kisses though, so that made up for it!
Today we had our third egg hunt with our playgroup. I almost thought we weren't going to be able to make it, but luckily we were just a little late. Kids had a good time. Max was a pro and got alot of eggs. Maddie did better than her first try. She seems to only want to get her favorite color or something. Little diva! Happy Easter everyone! Tomorrow we'll enjoy a family day and we are expecting family to celebrate at our house this weekend.
