Max's first letter

My son is a genius! I kid, I kid, but pretty close. :) I don't want to pressure him to learn his colors, count and write his name because I feel like when he's ready he'll learn it. We have 2.5 years until kindergarten, tear. But being an educator, I always take the opportunity to teach him something. With him being in school he recognizes his name and sometimes the letter M. So I thought why not teach him how to write an M, by learning "up, down, up down". Well go figure he practices and he can do it. Without prompting he wrote this and brought it to me. I was so proud I had to snap a picture.
