2 weeks

This past week was defineitley a trying time. I think all of the adrenaline we had the first week finally faded and the tiredness started to settle in (for me anyway). Needless to say we made it through with help from my mom, Suzy and Emily. Thanks a billion!!

Smiling face or gas...you tell me

Max's 2 week appointment went well. His plastibell fell off and he healed wonderfully. His umbilical cord fell off on Monday, actually I may have given it a little tug on accident. Dr. Nguyen said it looked fine. He is gaining weight. At his 1 week he was 7 lbs. 1 oz., and today he was 7 lbs. 10 oz. I also had my appointment today and I can drive now!! Woohoo!! Auntie Emily took some cute pictures of Max while I saw the doctor.

Max is eating well, but I wanted to give Daddy the chance to feed his little man. This week I started pumping. Shawn gets to feed Max his evening feeding. He had no problem taking the bottle, in fact he drank it quickly (even with a slow flow nipple!!!). Right now it looks like he is eating about 2 oz.
