Bed rest is definitely helping. So is Emily! She got here on Thursday and has been such a help. She stocked my fridge, got me BP monitor and has gotten my house back to normal!! Thank you so much girl! My mom should be here on Saturday to finish up some other stuff.
I am now seeing the doctor twice a week. Every visit will have an ultrasound to make sure that Max is healthy and not at risk because of my condition. Dr. Cantu was glad to see that my blood pressure is now lower (under 150/90) is good for me.
My progression:
- 1.5 cm
- 50 % effaced
- -2 station
It's official....I have preeclampsia. Dr. Cantu has ordered strict bed rest. I was in shock when she told me. I am not ready! No sub plans! Nursery is not ready! Oh well!
She wants me to rest for 2 weeks, then she plans to induce. So barring any other complications we should have a new baby on February 25th!! Ashlee's birthday too!

Hope you're feeling well. I know this is not what you had in mind, but just take it easy. The baby won't even know that his nursery isn't ready! Plus you'll get to meet him sooner! Take care of yourself, and congratulations!!!

Oh sweet girl...
Trust me I know things don't always go as we plan!! But all will be JUST FINE!! Get rest... He will sleep in your room for a while anyways!! Oh and if it makes you feel better when my water broke, 11 weeks early, I was IN my classroom- left that day and didn't go back!!! Talk about no sub plans!! :) Take care of you 2... You're so far along all will be just fine!

I love you and I am excited for you. You are about to give someone life..that is so cool! Rest and catch up on your fave shows cause baby Max is gonna be all you can think about after he gets here.
