Finally working on the nursery

It is official... we are nesting! With graduate school, work, deer season, the holidays and everything else, we have procrastinated long enough. We got off to a really slow start. My mom came to visit so we went shopping in the morning. Shawn had to go into work for a bit, so he was ready for a nap.
Well, we realized we needed to get on the ball, so we took a trip to Home Depot. We bought all we needed to paint and install a chair rail and crown molding in the nursery. We decided to keep the nursery neutral and traditional. We were so blessed to have Suzy and Richard come on Sunday to help us install all the trim. Luckily for me, Richard and Shawn did all the hard work while Suzy, my mom and I went to Babies R Us and Walmart for some missing items. The nursery is nowhere near being finished, but I foresee us being completely finished by the end of the month. Here are some pictures to preview "our" work so far.
Shawn doesn't like being photographed while he works.
Looking good :o)
